The National Lottery’s Big Night of Musicals returns the AO Arena, Manchester in January 2024!

Returning for another show-stopping year, theatre’s biggest West End and touring shows are coming together once again for a spectacular celebration as The National Lottery’s Big Night of Musicals returns the AO Arena, Manchester on 22nd January 2024.

The event will serve as a massive thank you to National Lottery players who in the past year helped support over 750 theatre related projects across the UK.  

Once again hosted by comedian and musical theatre star Jason Manford, tickets for The National Lottery’s Big Night of Musicals will go on general release at 1pm on Thursday 30th November 2023. Jason will be joined by special guest, West End legend and singing sensation, Beverley Knight.

The star of The Bodyguard, Cats, Memphis, Sylvia and Sister Act will be performing one of her classic numbers and helping surprise some National Lottery heroes.  

Featuring mesmerising performances from some of the biggest musicals from across the UK, the show is set to offer audience members the rare opportunity to experience a dozen musicals, all under one roof. This year’s spectacular shows will include the likes of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, A Chorus Line, Moulin Rouge! The Musical, GREASE, Hadestown, Guys & Dolls, plus many more to be announced. 

The full line-up for The National Lottery’s Big Night of Musicals event will be announced at a later date.  

As a special thank you to National Lottery players, 12,000 FREE* tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis at 1pm on Thursday 30th November. National Lottery players will be able to reserve up to four tickets for free, plus a £2 booking fee applies per ticket and proof of purchase of a National Lottery product is required.   

The show will be aired on BBC One, BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds at a later date.
