Ebb Software, in collaboration with Kepler Interactive, has announced that the acclaimed first-person horror adventure, SCORN, inspired by the work of H.R Giger, will launch on PlayStation 5 on 3 October 2023.
The release was announced during the Future Games Show at Gamescom 2023.
SCORN is a must-play title for horror enthusiasts and gamers seeking to push their nerves to the limit.
SCORN is already available to play on Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.
Ljubomir Peklar, game director of Ebb Software, comments:
“We are incredibly excited to announce the release date for Scorn on PlayStation 5 and bring our nightmarish experience to a whole new set of players. We’ve taken full advantage of the DualSense’s capabilities to heighten the level of immersion when playing on PlayStation 5. From the haptic feedback of the controller which varies depending on the in-game sound and intensity of the situation to the adaptive triggers which make every tool and weapon feel unique. The introduction of these features take Scorn’s horrors to a whole new level, gripping players in an entirely fresh way.”
Pre-orders are available digitally for PlayStation 5 as of today, though collectors of the macabre can get their hands on an exclusive physical Deluxe Edition* both for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Distributed by Maximum Games, the physical Deluxe Edition comes complete with the full game, a Limited Edition SteelBook® case, the game’s haunting original soundtrack and a digital art-book via select retailers.
*Soundtrack and artbook are available to download via a code and not physical items. Internet connection required.
