Studiocanal will release the brand new 4K restoration of the swashbuckling pirate epic, CUTTHROAT ISLAND, on 4K Ultra HD Steelbook, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD and Digital on 18th September 2023.
Directed by Renny Harlin from a screenplay by Robert King and Marc Norman, this big-budget pirate adventure stars Geena Davis, Matthew Modine and Frank Langella.
Famous pirate’s daughter Morgan (Davis) is on a quest for riches – she needs to get the remaining two parts of a map from her evil uncles, in order to find her dead father’s hidden treasure. Enlisting the help of a convicted thief (Modine), she straps on her cutlasses and takes to the high seas on a tempestuous journey – but villainous uncle Captain Dawg (Langella) is in hot pursuit.
