Foo Fighters’ eagerly awaited, hard-fought and already universally acclaimed new album, BUT HERE WE ARE, is released today on Roswell Records/Columbia Records.Produced by Greg Kurstin and Foo Fighters, BUT HERE WE ARE is a testament to the healing powers of music, friendship and family, and has been preceded by an ecstatically received quartet of its songs.
First single ‘Rescued’ was labeled as anthemic, righteous, and emotive (Clash), followed by a song that’s “Poignant and powerful” (Kerrang!) in ‘Under You’, the “haunted cut that focuses on the comforting piece of the past” (NME) that was ‘Show Me How’, and the 10-minute ‘The Teacher’ – “an epic, shape-shifting rock song that moves through all five stages of mourning” (BBC), all blazed radically diverse yet equally cathartic sonic paths.
These four songs have demonstrated dimensions of sound and emotion that hint at the range and depth of this phenomenal landmark in the Foo Fighters canon.
