Ahead of the UK theatrical release of Wes Anderson’s “ASTEROID CITY” on 23rd June 2023, Universal Pictures UK and 180 Studios have announced that they are bringing an “ASTEROID CITY” Exhibition to London.
Running from 17th June to 8th July 2023 at 180 Studios (180 The Strand, London WC2R 1EA), the exhibition will feature original sets, props, miniatures, costumes and artwork featured in the film.
The immersive exhibition will transport audiences into the world of Anderson’s eleventh feature film, through installations displaying signature visuals and sounds, as well as an opportunity to dine out at the film’s iconic 1950’s diner, the Luncheonette.
Limited Edition merchandise will also be on sale at the venue, including: T shirts, totes, screenplay, companion book, pin badges, and exclusive vinyl with tracks: Dear Alien (Who Art in Heaven) and You Can’t Wake Up If You Don’t Fall Asleep.
“ASTEROID CITY” takes place in a fictional American desert town circa 1955. The itinerary of a Junior Stargazer/Space Cadet convention (organized to bring together students and parents from across the country for fellowship and scholarly competition) is spectacularly disrupted by world-changing events.
