Makoto Shinkai’s critically acclaimed new film “SUZUME” has officially become the director’s most successful film in the UK and Ireland.
The film, released by Crunchyroll in the UK and Ireland, has now passed the lifetime grosses of Your Name (£621,000) and Weathering With You (£558,000) with a current gross of £842,410.
“SUZUME” was released in both Japanese language and an English dub version led by Nichole Sakura in cinemas across North America, Latin America and Europe on April 14, 2023. The cumulative gross from these releases stands at approximately $19M.
