Just in time for the Easter school holidays the Mary Rose Museum in Portsmouth has launched its most interactive experience yet, Dive the Mary Rose 4D.
From 10am on Friday 31st March 2023, visitors will be able to relive the untold story of The Mary Rose, from the finding, excavation and ultimately, the raising of the world’s most famous shipwreck 40 years ago.
Experience the smells, sounds, and newly created footage that simulates the salvage operation during the biggest ever maritime excavation and raising of King Henry VIII’s favourite warship. Dive the Mary Rose 4D offers a completely new and ground-breaking interactive experience for children and adults alike.
The immersive experience is narrated by actor and documentary maker Ross Kemp and some of the original diving team involved.

Dive The Mary Rose 4D is expected to be a huge draw for families in helping all generations learn about one of the most important historical shipwrecks and collections of Tudor artefacts, shining a light on life 500 years ago.
