In addition to successful touring runs throughout North America and Europe, The FRIENDSTM Experience: The One in New York City continues to provide the ultimate experience for fans of the globally beloved series.
Located at 130 East 23rd Street (the corner of 23rd St and Lexington Ave), the two-story flagship location provides an expanded experience from the tour’s offerings, with 18 rooms and activations, recreated sets, and original props and costumes, that allow fans of the show to celebrate their favourite friends and revisit some of the series’ most iconic moments.
Originally created for the show’s 25th anniversary, The FRIENDSTM Experience: The One in New York City, gives fans the unique opportunity to step into the world of their favorite show. The flagship location features 18 nostalgia-packed rooms and activations including Monica and Rachel’s apartment, the iconic FRIENDSTM fountain, and the legendary orange couch.
The space provides opportunities to explore the show’s history and re-create fan-favourite moments including knocking on Rachel and Monica’s purple door, relaxing in Chandler and Joey’s recliner, visiting the Las Vegas chapel where Ross and Rachel tied the knot or helping Ross with the infamous sofa pivot. Be sure to also see the room dedicated to Joey’s bedtime penguin pal, and admire a display of more than 25 original props and costumes from the series.
Guests at the experience will have the opportunity to take advantage of a variety of photo opportunities set in some of the most iconic backdrops in the world of FRIENDSTM, including the opening credits fountain, the pivot couch, wedding chapel, and recreated sets such as Monica and Rachel’s apartment and Central Perk. Digital and printed photos are available for purchase at the end of the experience, giving guests the opportunity to take home memories that will last a lifetime.
For fans who have always dreamed of getting a caffeine fix in the series’ iconic coffee shop, The FRIENDSTM Experience: The One in New York City features a recreated Central Perk where guests can order and enjoy a coffee and pastry in one of pop culture’s most recognisable cafés.
The Experience also offers an onsite retail store featuring a wide variety of exclusive FRIENDSTM and The FRIENDSTM Experience products including Joey’s bedtime penguin pal, Hugsy, and the Crap Bag. The retail store is open to both ticketed and non-ticketed guests.
