‘Judas and the Black Messiah’ will be released on Blu-ray & DVD on 21st June 2021!

Winner of two Academy Awards at last night’s 93rd Academy Awards ceremony, the powerful biographical drama-thriller, Judas and the Black Messiah, directed by Shaka King in his studio feature film directorial debut, is available now on Digital Download and will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on 21st June 2021 from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.

Judas and the Black Messiah stars Academy Award-winner Daniel Kaluuya as Fred Hampton and Academy Award-nominee LaKeith Stanfield as William O’Neal, alongside Jesse Plemons, Dominique Fishback, Ashton Sanders, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Lil Rel Howery, Algee Smith, Dominique Thorne, and Martin Sheen.

Judas and the Black Messiah features the Academy Award-winning song “Fight For You”, sung by H.E.R, and made history this year by being the first film with an all-black producing team nominated for an Academy Award in the Best Picture category.

FBI informant William O’Neal (LaKeith Stanfield) infiltrates the Illinois Black Panther Party and is tasked with keeping tabs on their charismatic leader, Chairman Fred Hampton (Daniel Kaluuya). A career thief, O’Neal revels in the danger of manipulating both his comrades and his handler, Special Agent Roy Mitchell (Jesse Plemons). Hampton’s political prowess grows just as he’s falling in love with fellow revolutionary Deborah Johnson (Dominique Fishback). Meanwhile, a battle wages for O’Neal’s soul.
