One of Guernsey‘s best-loved properties, Stocks Hotel, the oldest hotel & restaurant on the island of Sark, has won the 2020 TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice “Best of the Best” Award for Hotels.
The award, which is particularly important as it is based on a year’s worth of customer reviews, places Stocks Hotel within the top 1% of hotels across the globe.
Stocks Hotel underwent a sympathetic refurbishment in 2010 and today the four-star hotel offers 23 luxury bedrooms and suites located in the heart of Sark.
The restaurant at Stocks Hotel features fresh, seasonal produce from local farmers, fishermen and growers. The organic, permaculture gardens at the hotel provide first class fresh fruit & vegetables.
There are no cars on Sark. Travel is on foot or by bicycle, or by horse drawn carriage. Stocks Hotel has its own stables and tours of the island by horse & carriage are highly recommended.
