The much-lauded TV adaptation of Sally Rooney’s international literary phenomenon, Normal People, will be available to own on Digital Download from 3 July 2020.
Normal People will be released on the following digital platforms: iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Sky Store and Virgin Media, with a DVD release due to follow later in the year.
Starring Daisy Edgar-Jones as Marianne and Paul Mescal as Connell, the series follows these two people navigating adulthood in contemporary Ireland, and their complicated relationship from the end of their school days in Sligo to their undergraduate years at Trinity College. The series also stars Sarah Greene and Aislin McGuckin.
Sally Rooney adapted her coming-of-age book with Alice Birch along with Irish playwright Mark O’Rowe. Normal People is directed by the Oscar-nominated film-maker Lenny Abrahamson and English director Hettie Macdonald and is produced by the Oscar and BAFTA award-winning production company Element Pictures.
