Illuminations has announced the home entertainment release of Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake, which will now be available to own on DVD and Blu-ray on 14th July 2020 following the release of download and streaming versions in May.
Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake returns with a fresh look for the 21st century. Still retaining the iconic elements of the original production loved by millions around the world, award-winning designers Lez Brotherston and Paule Constable, alongside Matthew Bourne, have created an exciting re-imagining of the classic production.
In this performance Liam Mower dances the part of The Prince and Nicole Kabera performs as The Queen, with Will Bozier portraying the iconic role of The Swan and The Stranger.
Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake was filmed live at Sadler’s Wells for Sky and subsequently screened in cinemas worldwide.

The Making of Swan Lake (35 minutes) features interviews with cast members Will Bozier, Liam Mower, original Swan/Stranger from 1995, Adam Cooper, as well as New Adventures’ founder, Matthew Bourne.
