The producers of Hairspray the Musical have announced rescheduled performance dates for the multi award-winning smash hit musical at the London Coliseum.
The production will now begin performances on Thursday 22 April 2021 and play a strictly limited 19-week season until Sunday 29 August 2021.
Until 26 July 2020, all existing ticket holders have priority to move their tickets to a new date. All new ticket purchases can be made from 10am on 27 July.
The production will star Michael Ball, who returns to his Olivier Award winning role of Edna Turnblad, alongside Paul Merton, who will be making his West End musical debut as Edna’s husband Wilbur, Lizzie Bea, who also makes her West End debut as Tracy Turnblad, Marisha Wallace as Motormouth Maybelle, Rita Simons as Velma Von Tussle, Jonny Amies as Link Larkin, Georgia Anderson as Amber Von Tussle, Kimani Arthur as Inez, Dermot Canavan as Male Authority Figure, Lori Haley Fox as Female Authority Figure, Mari McGinlay as Penny Pingleton, Ashley Samuels as Seaweed J Stubbs, and Michael Vinsen as Corny Collins.
The full company includes: Imogen Bailey, Pearce Barron, Jordan Benjamin, Nicholas Collier, Joel Cooper, Luke George, Christopher Gopaul, Winny Herbert, Christopher Howell, Lily Laight, Hannah Grace Lawson, Madeleine Lawton, Holly Liburd, Will Luckett, Mireia Mambo, Kody Mortimer, Robyn Rose, Tinovimbanashe Sibanda,Kibong Tanji, Amy West and Natalie Woods.
This new production of Hairspray The Musical is led by the original, award-winning creative team of director Jack O’Brien and choreographer Jerry Mitchell.
