‘Hairspray The Musical’ announces re-scheduled performance dates at the London Coliseum!

Adam Spiegel Productions and Fiery Angel have today announced re-scheduled performance dates for the multi award-winning smash hit, Hairspray The Musical, at the London Coliseum, which will now begin performances on Tuesday 1 September 2020 and play a strictly limited 10-week season to Sunday 8 November 2020.

Until Monday 4 May, all existing ticket holders have priority to move their tickets to a new date. All new ticket purchases can be made from Tuesday 5 May. See www.hairspraythemusical.co.uk for all ticket information.

The production will star Michael Ball, who returns to his Olivier Award winning role of Edna Turnblad, alongside Paul Merton, who will be making his West End musical debut as Edna’s husband, Wilbur, Lizzie Bea as Tracy Turnblad, and Marisha Wallace as Motormouth Maybelle, and the newly announced  Rita Simons as Velma Von Tussle, Jonny Amies as Link Larkin, Georgia Anderson as Amber Von Tussle, Kimani Arthur as Inez, Dermot Canavan as Male Authority Figure, Lori Haley Fox as Female Authority Figure, Mari McGinlay as Penny Pingleton, Ashley Samuels as Seaweed J Stubbs, and Michael Vinsen as Corny Collins.

This new production of Hairspray The Musical is led by the original, award-winning creative team of director Jack O’Brien and choreographer Jerry Mitchell.

The full company includes: Imogen Bailey, Pearce Barron, Jordan Benjamin, Nicholas Collier, Joel Cooper, Luke George, Christopher Gopaul, Winny Herbert, Chris Howell, Lily Laight, Hannah Grace Lawson, Madeleine Lawton, Holly Liburd, Will Luckett, Mireia Mambo, Kody Mortimer, Robyn Rose, Tinovimbanashe Sibanda, Kibong Tanji, Amy West and Natalie Woods.
