Adam Spiegel Productions and Fiery Angel have today announced re-scheduled performance dates for the multi award-winning smash hit, Hairspray The Musical, at the London Coliseum, which will now begin performances on Tuesday 1 September 2020 and play a strictly limited 10-week season to Sunday 8 November 2020.

The production will star Michael Ball, who returns to his Olivier Award winning role of Edna Turnblad, alongside Paul Merton, who will be making his West End musical debut as Edna’s husband, Wilbur, Lizzie Bea as Tracy Turnblad, and Marisha Wallace as Motormouth Maybelle, and the newly announced Rita Simons as Velma Von Tussle, Jonny Amies as Link Larkin, Georgia Anderson as Amber Von Tussle, Kimani Arthur as Inez, Dermot Canavan as Male Authority Figure, Lori Haley Fox as Female Authority Figure, Mari McGinlay as Penny Pingleton, Ashley Samuels as Seaweed J Stubbs, and Michael Vinsen as Corny Collins.
This new production of Hairspray The Musical is led by the original, award-winning creative team of director Jack O’Brien and choreographer Jerry Mitchell.
