Netflix announces start of production on ‘The Witcher’ Season 2!

Netflix has announced the start of production on Season 2 of the hit new series, THE WITCHER, set to launch on Netflix globally in 2021.

Returning to the cast for season two are Henry Cavill, who leads the cast as Geralt of Rivia, Anya Chalotra as the sorceress Yennefer, Freya Allan as Ciri, and Joey Batey as fan-favourite Jaskier.

New casting for season two includes: Yasen Atour as Coen, Agnes Bjorn as Vereena, Paul Bullion as Lambert, Thue Ersted Rasmussen as Eskel, Aisha Fabienne Ross as Lydia, Kristofer Hivju as Nivellen, and Mecia Simson, as Francesca.

Other returning cast include MyAnna Buring as Tissaia, Tom Canton as Filavandrel, Lilly Cooper as Murta, Jeremy Crawford as Yarpin Zigrin, Eamon Farren as Cahir, Mahesh Jadu as Vilgefortz, Terence Maynard as Artorius, Lars Mikkelson as Stregobor, Mimi Ndiweni as Fringilla Vigo, Royce Pierreson as Istredd, Wilson Radjou-Pujalte as Dara, Anna Shaffer as Triss Merigold, and Therica Wilson Read as Sabrina.

The series will be directed by Stephen Surjik for episodes 201 and 202, Sarah O’Gorman for episodes 203 and 204, Ed Bazalgette for episodes 205 and 208, and Geeta V. Patel for episodes 206 and 207.
