IMAX has released new exclusive one sheet artwork for IT Chapter Two, the anticipated sequel to 2017’s record-setting horror, IT, out in IMAX cinemas nationwide on 6 September 2019.
The IMAX release of IT Chapter Two will be digitally re-mastered into the image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience® with proprietary IMAX DMR® (Digital Re-mastering) technology. The crystal-clear images, coupled with IMAX’s customised cinema geometry and powerful digital audio, create a unique environment that will make audiences feel as if they are in the movie.
Directed by Andy Muschietti from a screenplay by Gary Dauberman, based on the novel by Stephen King, the film stars Bill Skarsgård, who reprises his role as Pennywise, alongside James McAvoy as Bill, Jessica Chastain as Beverly, Bill Hader as Richie, Isaiah Mustafa as Mike, Jay Ryan as Ben, James Ransone as Eddie, and Andy Bean as Stanley.
Reprising their roles as the original members of the Losers Club are Jaeden Martell as Bill, Wyatt Oleff as Stanley, Sophia Lillis as Beverly, Finn Wolfhard as Richie, Jeremy Ray Taylor as Ben, Chosen Jacobs as Mike, and Jack Dylan Grazer as Eddie.
Evil resurfaces in Derry as director Andy Muschietti reunites the Losers Club—young and adult—in a return to where it all began with “IT CHAPTER TWO.”
Because every 27 years evil revisits the town of Derry, Maine, “IT CHAPTER TWO” brings the characters—who’ve long since gone their separate ways—back together as adults, nearly three decades after the events of the first film.
