With Father’s Day 2019 only a couple of days away, we’ve rounded up a few of our favourite recent Blu-ray and DVD releases to help with that last minute gift inspiration!



Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne star in the funny and moving new comedy-drama, INSTANT FAMILY, inspired by the real events from the life of writer and director Sean Anders.

When Pete (Wahlberg) and Ellie (Byrne) decide to start a family, they stumble into the world of foster care adoption. They hope to take in one small child but when they meet three siblings, including a rebellious 15 year old girl (Isabela Moner), they find themselves speeding from zero to three kids overnight. Now, Pete and Ellie must hilariously try to learn the ropes of instant parenthood in the hopes of becoming a family.

The film co-stars Octavia Spencer, Tig Notaro and Margo Martindale.

 Hailee Steinfeld and John Cena star in director Travis Knight’s brilliant and nostalgic new Transformers reboot, BUMBLEBEE, the sixth instalment of the blockbuster live-action Transformers film series.

 Michael B. Jordan returns as heavyweight Adonis Creed in CREED II, the smash hit follow up to 2015’s critically-acclaimed Rocky spin-off, Creed.

 An unrecognisable Christian Bale dazzles in an Oscar-nominated perfomance as former U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney in writer and director Adam McKay’s gripping biographical comedy-drama, VICE.

VICE explores the epic story about how a bureaucratic Washington insider quietly became the most powerful man in the world as Vice-President to George W. Bush, reshaping the country and the globe in ways that we still feel today.

The impressive cast also includes Amy Adams, Steve Carell, Sam Rockwell, Tyler Perry, Alison Pill, Lily Rabe, and Jesse Plemons.




Steve Coogan and John C. Reilly star as Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy in director Jon S. Baird’s sublime and heart-warming biopic, STAN & OLLIE, exploring the untold story of Hollywood’s greatest comedy double act.


Stan & Ollie is the hilarious and moving story of what would become the pair’s triumphant farewell tour. With their golden era long behind them, the pair embark on a variety hall tour of Britain and Ireland. Despite the pressures of a hectic schedule, and with the support of their wives Lucille (Shirley Henderson) and Ida (Nina Arianda) – a formidable double act in their own right – the pair’s love of performing, as well as for each other, endures as they secure their place in the hearts of their adoring public.
