‘If Beale Street Could Talk’ launches on Blu-ray & DVD on 17 June 2019!

Based on James Baldwin‘s stunning novel of the same name, Barry Jenkins‘ achingly beautiful romantic drama, If Beale Street Could Talk, will be released on Digital Download on 3 June and on Blu-ray and DVD on 17 June 2019 courtesy of Entertainment One.

The film stars KiKi Layne and Stephan James, alongside Colman Domingo, Teyonah Parris, Michael Beach, Dave Franco, Diego Luna, Pedro Pascal, Ed Skrein, Brian Tyree Henry, and an Academy Award-winning Regina King.

In early 1970’s Harlem, nineteen-year old Tish is in love with young sculptor and father of her unborn child Fonny. When Fonny is falsely accused of rape and imprisoned Tish and their families set out to clear his name before the baby is born. As they face an uncertain future, the young lovers experience a kaleidoscope of emotions – affection, despair, and hope – in a love story that evokes the blues in a place where passion, prejudice and sadness are inevitably intertwined.
