New acts & final headliners announced for 2019 Cambridge Folk Festival

Cambridge Folk Festival has announced the final headliners and a whole host of new acts set to entertain the crowds at Cherry Hinton Hall from 1 to 4 August 2019.

Newly announced as Friday’s headliners are the collective of Calexico and Iron & Wine, with Amadou & Mariam and Blind Boys of Alabama also newly announced as Sunday night headliners.

Other newly announced acts include: recent Lifetime Achievement Award recipient (Americana UK Awards) Graham Nash; Super Furry Animals songwriter and composer Gruff RhysThe Unthanks – who will be joined at the festival by fellow Northumbrian Kathryn Tickell and her band, The Darkening; American blues and soul singer-songwriter and guitarist, Robert FinleyMcGoldrick, McCusker and DoyleSiobhan MillerThe RailsHoly Moly & the CrackersThe Tweed Project, and Rob Heron & The Tea Pad Orchestra.

Calexico and Iron and Wine

Stage 1 headliners are Calexico and Iron & Wine (Friday), Lucinda Williams (Saturday) and From Bamako to Birmingham featuring Amadou and Mariam and Blind Boys of Alabama (Sunday).

Stage 2 headliners are Ralph McTell (Thursday), Robert Finley (Friday), Tunng (Saturday).
