The Who announce symphonic ‘Moving On!’ show at Wembley Stadium!

Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend have announced that The Who will play a special ‘Moving On!‘ show at London’s Wembley Stadium on 6 July 2019  with symphonic accompaniment and special guests Eddie Vedder and the Kaiser Chiefs.

The Wembley show coincides with the announcement of the band’s first album of new songs in thirteen years, due out later this year.

The band line-up will see Daltrey and Townshend joined by guitarist/backup singer Simon Townshend, keyboardist Loren Gold, bassist Jon Button and drummer Zak Starkey.

Pete Townshend commented:

“The Who are touring again in 2019.  Roger christened this tour Moving On! I love it. It is what both of us want to do. Move on, with new music, classic Who music, all performed in new and exciting ways. Taking risks, nothing to lose. Looking forward to seeing you all.  Are you ready?”

Tickets for The Who go on-sale to the general public on Friday 01 February 2019 at 10am at www.livenation.co.uk/
