The latest addition to the Soho House family, Redchurch Townhouse, is set to open its doors to the public in October 2018!
Located on Whitby Street in east London, just two minutes from Shoreditch House, Redchurch Townhouse will feature 37 bedrooms upstairs and a Cecconi’s restaurant on the ground floor.
Ranging in size from Tiny to Large, the individually designed bedrooms are all inspired by 1950s-70s style. The furniture is a mix of contemporary and traditional, with specially designed pieces made by Soho House Design.
Each room will feature a retro chandelier, a living area with mid-century armchairs and desks and floor to ceiling windows. The bathrooms have custom-made vanity units and hand-painted tiles.
On the ground floor, facing onto Redchurch Street, is Cecconi’s Shoreditch, a modern, all-day Venetian brasserie serving everything from pasta, seafood and cicchetti, as well as a Cecconi’s favourite, veal Milanese, and pizza from the wood-fired oven.
The space will have a simple colour palette and timber finishes, with the trademark striped marble floor seen in sister restaurants in Mayfair, the City of London, Berlin, Barcelona, Istanbul, Miami, West Hollywood and Dumbo New York.
Throughout the ground floor restaurant and reception hangs the 40 under 40 art collection – a collection of works sourced from 40 artists, all under 40, most of which live and work in east London.
