Tim Burton’s live-action ‘Dumbo’ gets a first look trailer & teaser poster

Walt Disney Studios has this morning unveiled an official first look trailer and teaser poster for director Tim Burton‘s live-action reimagining of the 1941 Walt Disney Animated Classic, DUMBO, out in cinemas nationwide in March 2019.

The film stars Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito, Eva Green and Alan Arkin.

DUMBO introduces Holt Farrier (Farrell), a former circus star who finds his life turned upside down when he returns from the war. Circus owner Max Medici (DeVito) enlists Holt to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him a laughingstock in an already struggling circus. But when Holt’s children (Parker and Hobbins) discover that Dumbo can fly, persuasive entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Keaton) and an aerial artist named Colette Marchant (Green) swoop in to make the peculiar pachyderm a star.

DUMBO features a screenplay by Ehren Kruger, based on a storyline by Helen Aberson, and loosely inspired by the original 1941 animated film.

The creative team includes cinematographer Ben Davis, production designer Rick Heinrichs, costume designer Colleen Atwood, editor Chris Lebenzon, and make-up designer Paul Gooch.
