Mathew Horne & Ed Speleers to lead UK Tour of ‘RAIN MAN’

Bill Kenwright has today announced that Mathew Horne and Ed Speleers will lead the inaugural Classic Screen to Stage Theatre Company production of Dan Gordon‘s RAIN MANwhich opens at Windsor Theatre Royal on 21 August 2018, ahead of a UK tour to Milton Keynes, Cardiff, Eastbourne, Southend, Edinburgh, Cambridge, Brighton, Guildford, Leeds, RichmondDerby and Northampton. 

RAIN MAN will be directed by Jonathan O’Boyle, with further dates and casting to be announced in due course.



TWO BROTHERS. ONE DESTINY.

 When self-centered salesman Charlie Babbitt (Speleers) discovers that his long-lost brother Raymond (Horne), an autistic savant with a genius for numbers, has inherited the family fortune; he sets out to get ‘his half’. 

Charlie ‘borrows’ Raymond from the institution where he has spent most of his life and the two brothers embark on a trip across America where Charlie soon discovers that Raymond is worth more than he could have ever imagined…


RAIN MAN is based on the MGM motion picture – story by Barry Morrow and screenplay by Ronald Bass and Barry Morrow – and produced by special arrangement with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc.

The production will be designed by Morgan Large, with lighting by Jack Weir and sound by Dan Samson.
