Arnaud Desplechin’s ‘Ismael’s Ghosts’ gets a new trailer & poster

Arrow Films has release a brand new trailer and quad poster for Arnaud Desplechin’s latest drama, ISMAEL’S GHOSTS, out in cinemas across the UK on 1 June, 2018.

ISMAEL’S GHOSTS premiered at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival as the opening film and went on to screen in Official Competition at the 2017 New York Film Festival.

Co-written by Arnaud Desplechin, Léa Mysius, and Julie Peyr, the film stars Mathieu Amalric, Marion Cotillard, Charlotte Gainsbourg, and Louis Garrel.

Twenty-one years ago, Carlotta (Cotillard) ran away. She ran away from her life and her husband, believed to be dead. Now, twenty-one years later, she is back from the void.

Her husband Ismael (Amalric) has been busy rebuilding a life for himself with Sylvia (Gainsbourg) and working on his next feature film.

As Ismael’s trials and tribulations unfurl, so too do those of his new film’s protagonist: the idle, funny and reckless diplomat Ivan Dédalus (Garrel).
