Michelin-starred ‘Fischer’s’ at Baslow Hall launches new ‘Seasonal Sunday Lunch’

Derbyshire’s highest awarded restaurant, the quintessential British, Michelin-starred ‘Fischer’s‘ at Baslow Hall has announced the launch of its new Seasonal Sunday Lunch, a gourmet dining experience just in time for Mother’s Day.



Created by award-winning Head Chef Rupert Rowley, Fischer’s Sunday Lunch menu combines fresh, seasonal British ingredients with modern techniques and European influences.

Looking beyond the roast meat and veg model, the contemporary menu features imaginative fish and vegetable-centric dishes, catering for pescatarians, carnivores and vegetarians alike … though beef and Yorkshire puddings will of course make an appearance!



Fischer’s Sunday Lunch menu will change seasonally, taking advantage of local Derbyshire produce and daily harvest from its own kitchen garden.

Championing local and home-grown produce, the current menu features grass-fed Derbyshire Beef, fresh fish and seafood from Paignton Devon, pears and Yorkshire forced rhubarb grown in the hall grounds, and homemade ice cream and sorbet.



An independent, family owned hotel, the Grade II listed manor of Baslow Hall is home to 11 luxury bedrooms, surrounded by stunning countryside, and set in the heart of the Peak District National Park, on the edge of the Chatsworth Estate, in the picturesque bustling little village of Baslow.
