Trafalgar Releasing has today announced that the highly acclaimed West End hit musical, An American in Paris, will be broadcast in cinemas worldwide on 16 May 2018 (excluding North America and Japan).
The breathtakingly beautiful production features music and lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin, a book by Craig Lucas, direction and choreography by Christopher Wheeldon, sublime set and costume design by Bob Crowley, projections by 59 Productions, lighting by Natasha Katz and sound by Jon Weston.

The film stars Tony Award nominees Robert Fairchild and Leanne Cope, reprising their roles as Jerry and Lise from the original Broadway production, and a company of over 50 actors, dancers and musicians including Haydn Oakley as Henri Baurel, Zoë Rainey as Milo Davenport, David Seadon-Young as Adam Hochberg and Jane Asher as Madame Baurel.
