From the 6th November 2017, the striking five-star Art Nouveau hotel will be dressed in festive decoration and launches its royal winter gardens, the ideal space for a Christmas celebration.

Featuring imaginative design, the hotel will host a magical forest of fir trees, a pop-up traditional chalet restaurant and an enchanting Japanese winter Garden with elegant decorations throughout.



The Royal Winter Gardens

The Royal Savoy Hotel’s idyllic pop-up winter garden chalet is the ideal space for a Christmas party, family celebration or romantic treat. From the start of November, a 150m2 chalet will be built in the hotel’s northern courtyard to accommodate up to 60 people for restaurant-style dining.

Guests will be welcomed through a forest of illuminated fir trees to enjoy an aperitif in an outside seating area before heading to their table. The chalet-restaurant will offer delicious and warming local specialties prepared with regional ingredients including a classic Swiss raclette or fondue.

Individual parties and couples can also enjoy packages including fondue or raclette, champagne and a meringue desert with half a bottle of wine, priced from: CHF68 (approximately £52) per person. Group party packages are also available for between 20 and 60 people and include mulled wine aperitif, two-course evening meal and wine.



Christmas Eve & Christmas Day

On Christmas Eve, the traditional day of celebration in much of Europe, guests can enjoy an extraordinary five-course menu created by three Michelin-starred Signature Chef Marc Haeberlin’s team in the Brasserie du Royal. This is accompanied by an extensive wine selection hand-picked by the award-winning sommelier team. Champagne will be poured on arrival, ready to raise a toast to the Christmas season.

A Christmas Day buffet brunch will welcome all ages in La Brasserie and the Bar to spend time with dear ones. Children will especially love the ‘Kid’s Corner’ with a bouncy castle, fun activities and the opportunity to meet Father Christmas himself.

On arrival all guests will be welcomed in their room with a Christmas stocking packed with Swiss chocolate and candy canes and those who prefer to keep things personal can enjoy Christmas room service.



New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day

On New Year’s Eve the Royal Savoy Hotel will showcase a beautiful gala dinner in the Brasserie du Royal with a seven-course evening meal accompanied with champagne and table entertainment from a close-up magician.

For the day after, a New Year’s Day ‘recovery brunch’ – including Bloody Marys and a large buffet – will be available from 12pm to sooth aching heads and share stories from the night before.

For further recovery, the hotel’s beautiful spa will be open for treatments throughout the Christmas period.



Le Spa du Royal

New for this season, the 1,500m² Spa Du Royal offers state of the art wellness facilities including both indoor and outdoor pools, vitality pools, sauna, a Hamman, steam rooms, eight treatment rooms, a relaxation room, ladies only spa area and two additional private spa areas.

Guests of Le Spa du Royal will also have access to the hair studio, spa boutique and 24/7 fitness suite with a private personal trainer available upon request.



Located in the heart of Lausanne in the city’s lively harbour district, Royal Savoy Hotel & Spa is just a short walk from the shores of Lake Geneva and a few minutes away from the old town and outdoor ice rink.
