Experience the ‘Total Eclipse’ with Royal Caribbean’s ‘Oasis of the Seas’

99 years in the making, the “Great American Eclipse,” is already booking up hotels across the country, and Royal Caribbean International is providing the perfect solution for thrill seekers to experience this once-in-a-lifetime event.

Taking place on the colossal Oasis of the Seas, the 7-night Total Eclipse Cruise will sail to the optimal spot at sea for guests to witness the total solar eclipse on 21st August, 2017.

The Cruise will also feature a bucket-list-worthy viewing party with a live concert performed by a major headliner (yet to be revealed) to celebrate what is poised to become the most photographed, most shared and most tweeted event in human history.

Oasis of the Seas will join six other Royal Caribbean ships – Allure of the Seas, Anthem of the Seas, Empress of the Seas, Enchantment of the Seas, Grandeur of the Seas, Harmony of the Seas and Majesty of the Seas –  sailing in the Caribbean during the eclipse.

Michael Bayley, President and CEO, Royal Caribbean International, commented:

“We’re set to take vacationers on an unprecedented experience that is nearly a century in the making. A total solar eclipse hasn’t crossed the entire U.S. since 1918, and with many of our ships sailing the Caribbean along the projected path, the stars aligned. Oasis of the Seas will have the vantage point of the century and an unforgettable celebration out at sea that adventurers won’t want to miss.”

The 7-night Total Eclipse Cruise on board Oasis of the Seas will set sail on Aug. 20, 2017 from Orlando (Port Canaveral), Florida and visit eastern Caribbean destinations: Phillipsburg, St. Maarten; Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas; and Nassau, Bahamas.
