MCC THEATER has announced that it has extended its critically acclaimed, American premiere production of Anna Jordan’s YEN through to 4 March, 2017, having been previously scheduled to close on 19 February, 2017.
YEN stars newly minted Manchester by the Sea Oscar® nominee Lucas Hedges alongside stage and screen stars Ari Graynor, Stefania LaVie Owen and Justice Smith, and is directed by MCC alum Trip Cullman.
Bobbie and Hench are home alone.
Days are filled by streaming porn, playing video games, and watching the world go by.
Their mom rarely visits these days, and it’s chaos when she does.
But when animal-loving neighbor Jenny takes an interest in their dog Taliban, the boys discover a world far beyond what they know.
YEN explores a childhood lived without boundaries.
YEN began performances on January 12, 2017 ahead of a January 31 opening night at New York’s Lucille Lortel Theatre.
