Full casting has been announced for the UK professional premiere of THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME IN CONCERT. The musical will play three performances at London’s Prince Edward Theatre on Sunday 17 August (3pm and 7:30pm) and Sunday 24 August (6pm).
Epic Musical Event Premieres in the UK with Star-Studded Cast
Leading an onstage company of over 50 will be: Ben Joyce as Quasimodo, Zachary James as Judge Claude Frollo, Christine Allado as Esmeralda, Dex Lee as Captain Phoebus, and Adam Strong as Clopin.
The role of Quasimodo will also be BSL interpreted on-stage by Oliver Hewing.
Supporting Cast and Choir Announced
Completing the cast are Lois Mia Chapman, Davide Fienauri, Caleb Lagayan, Emma Lloyd, Anna Marya Smith, Fanja Parent, and Aaron Rahn.
The production also features a 20 piece choir from the London Voices.
Creative Team with Award-Winning Talent
THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME IN CONCERT has music and lyrics from the 1996 animated film by Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz, alongside additional songs written for the musical by the two Oscar winners. The book is by Peter Parnell.
Jonathan O’Boyle directs this concert production, with musical direction by Olivier Award-winner Alan Williams. The concert will have choreography by Olivier Award nominee Mark Smith.
Additionally, lighting design is by Jamie Platt, costume design is by Alice McNicholas, and sound design is by Sound Quiet Time. Casting direction is by WhatsOnStage Award-winner Harry Blumenau, and production management is by Toby P Darvill for Production Solutions Group. Creative signing consultation is by Kevin Jewell.
