The winners of the 67th annual Antoinette Perry Awards for Excellence in Theatre (Tony Awards) were announced last night (9 June 2013) in a star-studded ceremony at New York’s Radio City Music Hall, hosted by TV, Film and Broadway star, and now four-time host, Neil Patrick Harris.

Harvey Fierstein’s feelgood musical Kinky Boots, featuring songs by pop star and Broadway newcomer Cyndi Lauper, proved the evening’s biggest winner, taking home six awards, including best musical, best score and best leading man, withTim Minchin’s Matilda and the revival of Stephen Schwartz’ Pippin both taking home four awards each.
