Full Casting Announced For Peter and Alice

Full casting has just been announced for the second production in the inaugural season of work for the Michael Grandage Company, the World Premiere production of ‘Peter and Alice’, a new play by Tony Award winner John Logan.

The Michael Grandage Company season is a five production programme comprised of new writing, alongside the classical and twentieth century repertoire. This unique West End residency at the glorious NOËL COWARD THEATRE brings together writers, actors and other artists in a single venture over fifteen months.

When Alice Liddell Hargreaves met Peter Llewelyn Davies at the opening of a Lewis Carroll exhibition in 1932, the original Alice in Wonderland came face to face with the original Peter Pan. In John Logan’s remarkable new play, enchantment and reality collide as this brief encounter lays bare the lives of these two extraordinary characters.

The production follows the opening season production of Peter Nichols’ award-winning comedy Privates on Parade, starring Simon Russell Beale as the cross-dressing Captain Terry Dennis (which plays until 2 March, 2013) and opens on 25 March, with previews from 9 March, running until 1 June 2013.
