Jumeirah Carlton Tower is inviting guests to experience A Taste of Diwali this autumn with an immersive culinary celebration bringing together five renowned chefs of South Asian heritage for a vibrant exploration of contemporary Indian cuisine.
Taking place at The Chinoiserie Bar from 16 October to 8 November 2026, the experience will combine signature dishes, bespoke cocktails and contemporary Indian design as Jumeirah Carlton Tower celebrates the flavours and stories of South Asia.
The second edition of A Taste of Diwali will transform The Chinoiserie Bar into a destination for a distinctive culinary journey, with each participating chef contributing a signature dish inspired by their own culinary journey and history.
A Taste of Diwali offers guests a refined interpretation of India’s rich culinary landscape, reimagined through the signature hospitality of Jumeirah Carlton Tower, a natural global gathering place, bringing together the joy of sharing, meaningful experiences and exceptional food.
Guests can choose from a limited edition tasting menu, or an à la carte selection featuring five signature dishes, alongside an array bespoke cocktails.
At the heart of the experience is the story behind the chefs’ inspiration for each dish.
The participating chefs bring strong connections to South Asia, from the vibrant streets of Mumbai to the architectural beauty of Kolkata, to create a unique celebration of South Asia’s diverse flavours and heritage.

The experience extends beyond the plate, with a beautifully curated tablescape inspired by contemporary Indian design, creating an evocative setting for the culinary journey.
The residency will culminate in a special Diwali celebration on 8 November, marking the Festival of Lights and the final evening of A Taste of Diwali.
