Alton Towers Scarefest 2026 is set to bring a new chapter of Halloween horror to the theme park, with the arrival of Final Exhibit, a brand-new scare maze joining a line-up of returning attractions, sinister scare zones and family-friendly experiences.
Running from Saturday 26 September to Sunday 1 November 2026, this year’s event promises plenty of thrills for visitors looking to embrace the darker side of Alton Towers Resort.

What Is Final Exhibit At Alton Towers Scarefest 2026?
The headline addition to Alton Towers Scarefest 2026 is Final Exhibit, a new scare maze that takes guests deep into a disturbing world centred around a mysterious collection of newly discovered Alton Towers artefacts.
Visitors initially enter what appears to be a spectacular exhibition celebrating the past. However, the experience soon takes a much darker turn as guests are lured into the hidden archive belonging to The Curator, a terrifying figure with an obsession for preserving history.
Within the archive are The Archivists, a silent workforce of hypnotised servants carrying out The Curator’s sinister orders while searching for new additions to his collection.
The real horror becomes apparent when guests discover that the collection is not restricted to objects. Those who fail to escape risk becoming living exhibits, trapped within the archive forever.

Scare Mazes Returning For Alton Towers Scarefest 2026?
Final Exhibit will be joined by several returning Scarefest attractions, giving visitors the opportunity to experience some of the event’s established horror worlds once again.
COMPOUND Returns For Another Terrifying Experiment
Fan-favourite attraction COMPOUND returns for Scarefest 2026, taking guests into the unsettling depths of a secretive scientific facility.
Visitors become unwilling participants in a twisted experiment as they descend further into the facility, where the line between scientific investigation and outright terror becomes increasingly blurred.
The Edge Of The Forest Brings A Sinister New Threat
The Edge of the Forest also returns, inviting brave visitors beneath its eerie canopy.
Those venturing into the forest will encounter lost souls who issue warnings about the Leshwall, a sinister spirit said to infiltrate the minds of those who cross its path.
Altonville Mine Tours: Tiny’s Revenge Returns
The abandoned Altonville Mines will once again open their doors for Altonville Mine Tours: Tiny’s Revenge.
The mines may have reopened, but one former resident remains at large. Tiny has so far evaded justice and continues to haunt the dark and twisted depths of the abandoned mine.

Which Alton Towers Scare Zones Are Returning In 2026?

Dark Hollow Expands The World Of TH13TEEN

The group has established a terrifying world somewhere between the living and the dead, where they follow their own rules.
