Thorpe Park Unveils Terrifying New Pitch-Black Scare Maze for Fright Nights’ 25th Anniversary

Tenement will plunge guests into terrifying darkness for Halloween 2026 with only a flickering torch to guide them

As Thorpe Park prepares to celebrate 25 years of its award-winning Halloween event Fright Nights, the Surrey theme park has revealed its brand-new scare maze, Tenement, which will plunge guests into terrifying darkness with only a flickering torch to guide them.

With Fright Nights 2026 running on selected dates from 2 October to 1 November 2026, guests who enter Tenement will have to face their fear of the dark with only their imaginations and the creatures that lurk in the darkness for company.

Inside an abandoned tenement, the power is dead, the tenants have vanished, and every flicker of light reveals something getting closer.

As the light fails, guests will be hunted and disorientated as they enter deeper into a maze of reflections, illusions and sensory scares. In Tenement, shining a light might just make you the problem…

  • Survival Games once again throws guests into a labyrinth of shifting pathways where assassins and brutal obstacles make escape anything but guaranteed, and fan-favourite  DeadBeat  drags visitors into an underground nightclub where every beat pulls partygoers closer to creatures lurking in the shadows.
  • Beyond the mazes, Purgatory Town - Thorpe Park’s first speak-to-scare zone – returns, with new inhabitants condemned to wander the streets desperate to tell their tales to anyone who will listen.
  • The Lord of Darkness himself will be putting on an unforgettable show in Lucifer’s Lair, and The Crows have abandoned their home of Mawkin Meadow ready to spread their silent terror across the park.
  • Creature Campus: Reunion Reckoning will see old rivalries reignite in a high-energy live show, and new for 2026, the Rebel Ball sponsored by Fanta takes over The Launch Pad for a vibrant night of music, dance and wow-factor fire performances.
