There is a new reason to make a festive trip to Cheshire this year, as Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Light Trail is set to make its UK debut at Arley Hall & Gardens.
From October, the historic Cheshire estate will be transformed into an illuminated journey through Halloween Town and Christmas Town, bringing one of the most recognisable worlds in festive film to life after dark.
Running from 22 October 2026 to 3 January 2027, the immersive light trail follows acclaimed international runs in New York, Austin and São Paulo, where more than 500,000 guests have experienced the attraction.
Now, the experience is heading to the UK for the first time.

The Nightmare Before Christmas Light Trail Comes To Arley Hall
Set within the historic grounds of Arley Hall, the trail will combine lighting technology, music, interactive video projections and 3D-printed sculptures to create a large-scale celebration of Tim Burton’s distinctive visual world.
The experience will feature more than 1,700 dazzling light installations, with visitors invited to walk through 24 sections inspired by the locations, characters and memorable moments of The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Arley Hall has already welcomed more than 400,000 visitors to previous light trail experiences, making its grounds a fitting setting for the new attraction.
