Blenheim Palace is turning up the fright factor for Halloween 2026, unveiling its biggest Halloween trail yet with a giant Spider Puppet, a brand-new Monster Disco, Dracula’s Lair and interactive neon coffin installations.
Running from 22 October to 1 November 2026, the after-dark experience will transform the historic grounds of the Oxfordshire UNESCO World Heritage Site into a 1.3-kilometre Halloween adventure packed with theatrical characters, immersive installations and interactive photo opportunities.
The newly imagined trail promises a particularly spectacular experience this year, with more than 50 gravestones, 40 skeletons, four giant 12-foot figures, 50 pumpkin lanterns, 24 coffins, more than 70 skulls and skull-inspired props, 100 spiders and 100 crows forming part of the Halloween spectacle.

Giant Spider Puppet Takes Centre Stage
The biggest new addition to Halloween at Blenheim Palace 2026 is an enormous Spider Puppet, which will emerge as visitors make their way through a 20-metre-long funnel-web tunnel.
Set against glowing webs and illuminated with red light, the giant creature will slowly stalk approaching visitors before suddenly bursting into movement.
The spectacular installation forms the centrepiece of the returning Spider’s Lair and is designed to bring a dramatic new dimension to the trail.
New Monster Disco Brings Halloween To Life
At the end of the trail, visitors will encounter the all-new Monster Disco, a colourful and energetic finale featuring an upbeat soundtrack, lighting effects and rotating mirror balls suspended above the pathway.
Families will be encouraged to dance their way through the immersive experience, creating a playful ending to the Halloween adventure.
James Dakin, RG Live Director of Live Experiences, said the 2026 event would feature the first-ever Monster Disco alongside new neon coffins and the giant Spider Puppet.
Dracula’s Lair And Neon Coffin Selfie Moments
Before reaching the Monster Disco, visitors will enter Dracula’s Lair, a theatrical world filled with mausoleums, smouldering braziers, gravestones, coffins and rolling mist.
Dracula himself will be waiting in his crypt to warn visitors about the tricks and treats still to come.
Four new neon coffin selfie installations will also provide opportunities for visitors to capture their Halloween portraits among the atmospheric mausoleums.
Adding to the drama will be a Vampire Hunter, who will pursue the infamous Count through the darkness.
Headless Horseman Returns For Halloween 2026
One of the event’s most recognisable characters will once again welcome visitors as they arrive.
The Headless Horseman returns alongside a second mounted horseman, with both performing among the trees before visitors even begin the main trail.
Elsewhere, returning favourites include the ghostly Pirate’s Wreck, the chilling Catacombs and the mischievous pumpkin-headed scarecrow found within the Possessed Pumpkin Farm, complete with carts, hay bales, lanterns and scarecrows.
