Polaroid has teamed up with Pokémon for its biggest collaboration yet, bringing Pikachu, Sylveon and the iconic Poké Ball to a new collection of instant cameras, film and accessories launching later this year.
Polaroid and Pokémon are joining forces for a colourful new limited-edition collection celebrating 30 years of Pokémon.
Bringing together three special-edition cameras, three film options and a selection of accessories, the collaboration combines Pokémon’s playful visual identity with the tactile appeal of instant photography.
The Polaroid x Pokémon collection is designed to appeal to both longtime Pokémon fans and a younger generation discovering the franchise, encouraging fans to capture everyday moments and turn them into physical keepsakes.
Polaroid x Pokémon Collection Revealed
The new Polaroid x Pokémon Special Edition range is Polaroid’s biggest collaboration to date and features three distinctive camera designs inspired by some of Pokémon’s most recognisable icons.
The Polaroid Now Camera Generation 3 – Pokémon Edition takes its inspiration from the Poké Ball, while the Polaroid Go Generation 3 receives two Pokémon-themed designs featuring Pikachu and Sylveon.
The collection also extends beyond the cameras themselves, with Pokémon-themed film frames and accessories designed to complete the instant photography experience.
Polaroid Now Gen 3 Pokémon Edition
The Polaroid Now Camera Generation 3 – Pokémon Edition features a special-edition Poké Ball design.
It will be priced at $139.99 / €139.99 / £129.99.
Polaroid Go Gen 3 Pokémon Editions
Two versions of the compact Polaroid Go Generation 3 will be available.
The Polaroid Go Camera Generation 3 – Pokémon Pikachu Edition features Pikachu-inspired styling, while the Polaroid Go Camera Generation 3 – Pokémon Sylveon Edition celebrates the popular Fairy-type Pokémon.
Both cameras will cost $99.99 / €99.99 / £89.99.
New Themed Polaroid Film
The collaboration also introduces special-edition film featuring Pokémon-themed frames and custom dark slides.
The collection includes:
- Polaroid Color i-Type Film – Pokémon Edition: $22.99 / €21.99 / £20.99
- Polaroid Go Color Film – Pokémon Pikachu Edition – Double Pack: $24.99 / €22.99 / £21.99
- Polaroid Go Color Film – Pokémon Sylveon Edition – Double Pack: $24.99 / €22.99 / £21.99
The themed frames add another Pokémon-inspired element to photographs, giving fans a way to carry the collaboration through from the camera to the finished print.
Polaroid x Pokémon Accessories
Three accessories will also be available as part of the collection.
The Polaroid Go Camera Case – Pokémon Edition and Polaroid Go Photo Album – Pokémon Edition will each cost $24.99 / €24.99.
A Polaroid Camera Strap – Pokémon Edition, compatible with both cameras, will be priced at $14.99 / €14.99.
Together, the accessories provide fans with additional ways to personalise how they carry, store and display their instant photographs.
When Does The Collection Launch?
The Polaroid x Pokémon Special Edition collection will launch globally in limited quantities.
Pre-orders open on August 25, 2026, through Pokémon Center in the US, UK and Canada, as well as through polaroid.com.
The full collection will then be released on October 5, 2026.
With the range being produced in limited quantities, Pokémon and Polaroid fans looking to collect the cameras, film and accessories will want to pay close attention to the pre-order date.
