Attack on Titan fans will experience the music of the global anime phenomenon on an unprecedented scale this autumn, as Attack on Titan: Symphony from Paradis receives its world premiere at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
Featuring newly created symphonic arrangements curated by original composers Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto, the concert promises a powerful reimagining of one of the most celebrated anime scores of all time.
The world premiere o Attack on Titan: Symphony from Paradis will take place at the iconic Royal Albert Hall on Saturday 17 October, with two performances scheduled.
What Is Attack On Titan Symphony From Paradis?
Symphony from Paradis marks the first official full orchestral concert dedicated entirely to the anime series. Unlike previous arena tours, this new production focuses on fully symphonic arrangements designed specifically for concert halls.
Footage from the award-winning anime will be projected on screen, accompanied live by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and London Voices under the baton of conductor Alexandra Cravero.
The score will be reimagined for full orchestra, expanding on the original band and hybrid orchestral textures that defined the series across its four seasons.
Hiroyuki Sawano And Kohta Yamamoto On The New Orchestral Arrangements
Hiroyuki Sawano, who composed music for Seasons 1 to 3 and The Final Season, described the production as an opportunity to explore new expressive possibilities within a full orchestral framework.
He also confirmed that composer and orchestrator Nobuko Toda will oversee the orchestral adaptations of his work, offering audiences a distinct concert experience exclusive to this tour.
Kohta Yamamoto, who scored The Final Season, highlighted how many of the original tracks incorporated synthesisers and electric guitars. Hearing these themes transformed into purely symphonic arrangements promises a fresh emotional perspective for fans.
Both composers will supervise the music remotely throughout the tour.
A Global Tour Following The London Premiere
The premiere of Symphony from Paradis at the Royal Albert Hall will be followed by a world tour, which includes an Asian premiere in Hong Kong and an American premiere at New York’s Carnegie Hall. The tour will run across 15 cities for 27 performances, with more to be announced.
This new production builds on the global success of the rock-led Attack on Titan – Beyond the Walls – World Tour – having sold over 240,000 tickets to date in landmark venues including Carnegie Hall, Dolby Theatre, Sydney Opera House, among many others.
Why Attack On Titan Remains A Global Phenomenon
Based on the best-selling manga series, Attack on Titan has become one of the most watched anime series of all time. Its blend of political intrigue, moral complexity and emotional intensity has elevated it beyond genre boundaries.
The music has played a central role in its success, with Sawano and Yamamoto’s compositions widely recognised for their scale, drama and hybrid orchestration.
This symphonic world premiere at the Royal Albert Hall signals another milestone in the growing recognition of anime music within the classical concert sphere.
Tickets for Attack on Titan: Symphony from Paradis will go on sale at 10am BST, Thursday 30 April from the Royal Albert Hall website. Tickets for Friends and Patrons will be available 24 hours earlier.
