Marvel Studio’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3

The Guardians of the Galaxy are back for another thrilling solo outing in this epic third volume in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, and the the 32nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) overall!

The MCU now expands to the far reaches of the galaxy as Peter Quill once again rallies his unlikely team to embark on a dicey, action-packed mission to protect one of their own. This time, however, a new force threatens to bring the Guardians down for Good.

It is a significantly more emotionally-charged film than previously instalments with some rather distressing scenes involving animal cruelty and experimentation as Rocket’s early life is explored, though there is plenty of warmth and comedy to balance out the more moving sequences.

With outstanding action sequences and the signature blend of sharp humour and epic music, albeit here with a much darker tone, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 marks a significant step up from some of the recent MCU films and a fitting conclusion to the epic Guardians story… for now at least!

Indiana Jones & The Dial Of Destiny

Venture to Element City this Christmas for Disney and Pixar’s beautiful original feature film, Elemental, where residents of Fire, Water, Earth and Air live together.

The story introduces Ember, a tough, quick-witted and fiery young woman, whose friendship with a fun, sappy, go-with-the-flow guy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in.

Exploring the timely theme of cultural diversity, Elemental may not be peak Disney/Pixar but it’s a beautifully told romantic comedy bursting with vivid colours, bold animation and typically loveable characters. Perfect family entertainment for Christmas!

The Crown – The Complete Fifth Season

With the sixth and final season of the critically acclaimed Netflix drama coming to a close later this month, catch up with the most recent Royal events with The Crown – The Complete Fifth Season, available to own now on Blu-ray and DVD.
