Olivier Awards 2020 – The Nominations In Full!

The nominations have been announced for the 2020 Olivier Awards, which will be announced in a ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 5 April 2020, hosted by Jason Manford.

The smash hit new musical & Juliet leads the way with nine nominations – including Best New Musical, Best Actress in a Musical, Best Set Design and Best Costume Design, while Trevor Nunn’s revival of Fiddler On The Roof, which opened at the Menier Chocolate Factory before transferring to the West End last year, is nominated eight times, with a Best Director nod for Nunn, as well as acting nominations for Andy Nyman and Judy Kuhn.

There are also seven nominations for the anticipated West End transfer of blockbuster Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen at the Noël Coward Theatre, and six for the Richard Eyre-directed revival of Mary Poppins currently running at the Prince Edward Theatre.
