Taika Waititi’s ‘JOJO RABBIT’ gets an Official Trailer!

Fox Searchlight UK has released the official trailer for writer and director Taika Waititi‘s upcoming black comedy-drama, JOJO RABBIT, out in cinemas across the UK on 1 January 2020.

Based on the book Caging Skies by Christine Leunens, the film stars Taika WaititiRoman Griffin DavisThomasin McKenzie, Rebel Wilson, Stephen Merchant, Alfie Allen, Sam Rockwell, and Scarlett Johansson.

JOJO RABBIT has also been announced as a headline gala screening at the 63rd BFI London Film Festival on Saturday 5th October 2019.



Writer director Taika Waititi (THOR: RAGNAROK, HUNT FOR THE WILDERPEOPLE), brings his signature style of humor and pathos to his latest film, JOJO RABBIT, a World War II satire that follows a lonely German boy (Roman Griffin Davis as JoJo) whose world view is turned upside down when he discovers his single mother (Scarlett Johansson) is hiding a young Jewish girl (Thomasin McKenzie) in their attic. Aided only by his idiotic imaginary friend, Adolf Hitler (Taika Waititi), Jojo must confront his blind nationalism.
