Walt Disney Pictures has released a brand new one sheet poster for Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, the anticipated sequel to 2014’s Maleficent, due to be released in cinemas nationwide on 18 October 2019.
Directed by Joachim Rønning from a screenplay co-written by Linda Woolverton, Micah Fitzerman-Blue, and Noah Harpster, the film will once again star Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning as Maleficent and Princess Aurora, respectively, alongside Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple, and Lesley Manville, who also return, and newcomers Michelle Pfeiffer, Ed Skrein, Harris Dickinson, and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
In Disney’s “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil,” a sequel to the 2014 global box office hit, Maleficent and her goddaughter Aurora begin to question the complex family ties that bind them as they are pulled in different directions by impending nuptials, unexpected allies and dark new forces at play.
