Entertainment One UK has released a brand new trailer for director André Øvredal‘s upcoming anthology horror, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, out in cinemas nationwide this August.
The film is co-written by Dan and Kevin Hageman from a story by visionary filmmaker Guillermo del Toro, based on the children’s book series of the same name by Alvin Schwartz.
The film stars Zoe Colletti, Michael Garza, Austin Abrams, Gabriel Rush, Austin Zajur, Natalie Ganzhorn, and Dean Norris.
It’s l968 in America. Change is blowing in the wind…but seemingly far removed from the unrest in the cities is the small town of Mill Valley where for generations, the shadow of the Bellows family has loomed large.
