Barbican to host special screening of Duncan Jones’ ‘Moon’ with Clint Mansell’s score played live

The Barbican has announced a special screening of Duncan Jones’ acclaimed science-fiction drama, Moon, which will see composer Clint Mansell‘s celebrated, otherworldly score played live by the London Contemporary Orchestra, conducted by Mansell’s long-time collaborator, Matt Dunkley.

The event, taking place in the Barbican Hall on Friday 19 July 2019 and introduced by Mansell, celebrates both the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing on 20 July 1969 and the 10th anniversary of Jones’ film.

Clint Mansell returns to the Barbican’s music programme following his appearance as part of an evening of his film music alongside his band, pianist Carly Paradis and the Sonus Quartet in October 2014.
