Walt Disney Pictures has released the first official teaser poster for Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, the anticipated sequel to 2014’s Maleficent, due to be released in cinemas nationwide on 18 October 2019.
Directed by Joachim Rønning from a screenplay co-written by Linda Woolverton, Micah Fitzerman-Blue, and Noah Harpster, the film will once again star Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning as Maleficent and Princess Aurora, respectively, alongside Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple, and Lesley Manville, who also return, and newcomers Michelle Pfeiffer, Ed Skrein, Harris Dickinson, and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
