Amazon Prime and BBC Studios have released the official trailer for the anticipated new six-part serial, Good Omens, set to launch on Amazon Prime Video around the world on Friday 31st May 2019.
Directed by Douglas Mackinnon and written by showrunner Neil Gaiman, based on the acclaimed fantasy novel of the same name by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, the ensemble cast includes: David Tennant, Michael Sheen, Jon Hamm, Anna Maxwell Martin, Josie Lawrence, Adria Arjona, Michael McKean, Jack Whitehall, Miranda Richardson and Nick Offerman.
Good Omens follows an unlikely duo, a fussy Angel (Sheen) and a loose-living Demon (Tennant) who’ve become overly fond of life on Earth and are forced to form an unlikely alliance to stop Armageddon.
But they have lost the Antichrist, an 11-year-old boy unaware he’s meant to bring upon the end of days, forcing them to embark on an adventure to find him and save the world before it’s too late.
