Tameka Empson to return to the stage for Hackney Empire’s ‘Aladdin’

Hackney Empire has today announced that Olivier Award nominee, Tameka Empson, will make an anticipated return to the stage later this year to play ‘The Empress’ alongside Olivier Award-winning Grande Dame Clive Rowe in Hackney Empire‘s landmark 20th anniversary pantomime production, Aladdin.

The sparkling new production will see writer and director Susie McKenna mark two decades at the helm of the now legendary show with composer Steven Edis.

Aladdin will run from 24 November 2018 to 6 January 2019, with an official opening night on 5 December.
