CinemaLive has announced that Jonas Kaufmann: Under the Stars, captured live at Berlin’s iconic Waldbühne amphitheatre, will be screened in cinemas across the UK and Ireland for one night only on Thursday 30 August 2018.
This spectacular outdoor summer concert will see the star tenor performing famous arias and timeless Italian songs from his best-selling album ‘Dolce Vita’ – a heartfelt tribute to Italian music including the popular classics: ‘Caruso’, ‘Torna a Surriento’, ‘Parla più piano’ (‘The Godfather’ theme) and ‘Volare’, as well as famous arias by Verdi, Puccini and more.
This new concert will be shown on over 300 screens in the UK and Ireland including major multiplexes, independent cinemas and arts centres. Audiences will be able to experience this magical night of music up close and personal from their local cinema.
