London’s First Vegan French Pâtisserie, Café Forty One, to launch in July 2018

London’s first vegan French pâtisserie, Café Forty One, will officially open its doors on 9 July 2018 at La Suite West Hotel near Hyde Park, offering a contemporary alternative to traditional French pâtisserie favourites courtesy of Head Chef Clarisse Flon.



Speciality vegan chef Flon will introduce a new vegan breakfast, lunch, all day dessert and Afternoon Tea menus, with Café Forty One having successfully developed a vegan offering that defies the customary stereotype that surrounds plant-based food showcasing unique delicate and delicious vegan cuisine.



Head Chef Clarisse Flon commented:

Our ambition for Café Forty One is to create an exceptional and passionate vegan cuisine that stands out against the current vegan offering in London that simply meets the demand. We are determined to create visually stimulating dishes that will not only subvert the stereotype of vegan food as tasteless and unimaginative, but will cater for everyone, not just vegans.”


 


Café Forty One will offer Afternoon Tea for £35 per person. Includes an array of sandwiches, pâtisseries of the week, two scones, a glass of elderflower and pomegranate fizz, and a choice of freshly roasted Italian coffee or loose-leaf tea selection.
